Walk the Hutdong + Beijing dinner

What will we do

Hutong, is the place where Beijing locals have lived for generations. We prefer to lead you walk the most original Hutong area to feel the history vestiges and local Beijingers’life. This area located in the south of Tiananmen Square. Here is almost no transformation, and still a large number of "locals" living. It is a real original area. We will walk through the shortest and narrowest Hutong of Beijing. Meet groups of doves hovering from above your head, get into the old market to feel the local life, and stop still to watch the old man playing chess. Taste local snacks and beer. This will be a very happy and exciting walk trip. About our route:

  1. Walk the original Hutong area.
  2. Enjoy a local dinner at the 150 years history restaurant.
  3. Up to highest location of this area have a overlook.

What will we do

As the night falls and the light on, Beijing begins its night life which is beautiful, interesting and impressive. Our experience is leading you walk through two totally different areas, one is 'Wangfujing' which is the most fashionable commercial center in Beijing , another is the 'ancient and quiet area' which just next to the Forbidden City.

Our plan

  1. We will walk through the modern Wangfujing street to find the famous 'Night Market' which is highly recommended by many foreign medias , here has the delicious food, folk craftsmen , handicrafts and souvenirs. Especially the splendid food, we will lead you taste them and tell you which snacks are the most distinctive, which is the local people like best, which snacks contain ingredients you don't want to eat.
  2. Watch and experience 'square dance'. Square dance is a very popular form of fitness in China now. Dozens of old ladies gather together, and dance to the high passion of music. If you want, you can join it.
  3. After ten minutes walk from Wangfujing, we will arrive the east gate of the Forbidden city, which is more mysterious and solemn at night, here we can see the moat and the wall of forbidden city under the moonlight, and the fishing old man, running young man，romantic couples ...
  4. If you like, we can also play shuttlecock which is very traditional.
